Travel

For those arriving at any of the five London airports, Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton, Stansted and City, there are fast trains to the centre of London. For example, Gatwick is about 55 kilometres from London - but the train into the centre of London (Victoria Station), takes around 30 minutes! There are also bus services from airports into the centre of London. Taxis, of course, are always available but much more expensive.

Most host families live in North London, and every effort is made to place students with families who are on an easy route to the Course, by London Underground or bus.
