Travel
Travel by air - the nearest Airport to the centre of Manchester, is Manchester Airport, which is an international airport covering flights from many parts of the world. The College is in the centre of Manchester on Oxford Road, in the University district.
There are 6 trains an hour from the Airport to Manchester Piccadilly Station and the journey takes 35 minutes. There is then a bus or short taxi ride to the College and hostel, which takes only a few minutes. A taxi would cost around £5.
There are also buses from the Airport to either the Bus station in central Manchester, or to the College on Oxford Road. The fare is less expensive than the train. Taxis are more expensive and students should always check the price first.
Travel from London - trains, for Manchester Piccadilly Station, leave every 30/40 minutes from Euston Station and the journey takes just over two hours.
For those students staying at the Hostel - it is called Sir Charles Groves Halls of Residence and is next door to the College and accessible 24 hours daily.
